| Please explain how the two of you met and list any interesting things about your love story that you want us to know.: | One Saturday evening, my friends came by my house and dragged me to some random house-warming party after I had expressed my disinterest in attending, I reluctantly tagged along. We arrived at the party, if that wasn’t awkward enough for me since I didn’t know the homeowner personally, there was some random guy that kept staring at me and I tried so hard to ignore him because I was honestly there just to get out of the house and not to meet a guy. While at the party, I was chatting with my girlfriend in the kitchen area, and then he sent one of his friends to distract my girlfriend and run interference so that I would be alone and he could start a conversation with me. He came over, we started talking, we had so much in common including the fact that one of his sisters attended the same secondary school (high school) as I had attended back in Nigeria, and we have been inseparable ever since. It came naturally. He always says that he knew there was something special when we met. |
