| Please List 3 things that will be unique about your wedding: | We’re having a pretty traditional wedding, with an island theme. My family is from Barbados; I was raised in Brooklyn, and he’s from New Jersey. |
| Please explain how the two of you met and list any interesting things about your love story that you want us to know.: | Some mutual friends of ours had been trying to get us connected for some time, but it never worked out. Finally, at a cookout in Hampton, GA, we met each other for the first time. It turned out, that we lived in the same apartment complex, and attended the same school in Alpharetta, and never once met. On our first date Albert went to the wrong movie theater. We were suppose to meet at Buckhead Backlot, but instead he went to the Phipps Plaza. After a good laugh, to save time I drove to him, and he ended up following me…I was in the process of moving back up North, because I was offered a position at Columbia University, but something kept telling me to stay, so I stayed, and I’m glad I did. |
